Meet Our Owls
Lola - white Faced Owl
Sadly Noahs Ark at Earnley was forced to close down due to lack of funds and was desperately looking for homes for hundreds of animals. Hearing that among those needing new homes was an owl we just had to step in and offer our help which was accepted. As a result we had a new addition to Owls 4 U in the form of a White faced owl. For those that are familiar with Noahs Ark they thought she was a boy and called him Gizmo. However upon inspection it turns out that we have a lovely girl who is now called Lola.
Lola is the smallest of our owls and has a rather unique trick. Known affectionately as our Transformer Owl she can change appearance when presented with what she feels might be a threat.
If the threat is only slightly bigger than herself then she will lower her head and fan her wings behind her like a Peacock Making her look much larger.
If however the threat is a lot larger then making yourself look big does not work so she transforms her self into Evil Lola making herself very tall and thin her wing acting as a cloak she looks like she should be staring in the next Dracula movie.
